DECIDE ON THE BACKGROUND COLOUR . AND CHOOSE CONTRASTING COLOURS
FOR THE TEXT AND GRAPHICS.

IT IS ALWAYS ADVISABLE TO DRAW A ROUGH SKETCH SETTING OUT
A LAYOUT THAT GIVES YOU MAXIMUM SIZE LETTERING FOR CLARITY.

A good rule of thumb is the height of the letter multiplied by the amount of letters in the line will be approximately equal to the length of the line. Of course this varies, depending on the font used, but don't worry, when ordering you are given the opportunity to give overall sign dimensions, so if you have ordered to big we will scale or condense back automatically.

It is always a good idea to emphasize the name of the business by using a different colour, font or outlining the letters in black, white or contrasting colour. If your sign has no frame then a border will strengthen the sign.

GRAPHICS AND LOGO’S

We can reproduce any graphic or logo to your specified size providing you send us by e-mail or post suitable artwork. There will be a one off setup charge for this, depending on the quality of artwork and the complexity of the design. We will quote you separately for this on receipt of artwork. We will keep your design on file and give you a file number that you can quote for future reordering, thus avoiding this charge again.

BANNERS

Nylon reinforced pvc material is recommended
(we can supply readymade up banners with eyelets in a variety of sizes and colours) but if only lettering is required. Do not forget to tick banner box when ordering as a different type of self adhesive vinyl is used.
