HINTS AND TIPS
1. Measure your available area [panel size for vans] to be
sign written, [you will be asked for this when you order] and
it will allow you to calculate your letter height.
2. The length of a line of text will be approximately the height
of the letters multiplied by the amount of letters in the line.
So if you require a line length, say 900mm and the amount of
letters in the line is 10 you would be able to order up to 90mm
lettering.
Another way of looking at it is to choose a letter height and
multiply by the amount of letters in the line and this will
give you the length of the line.
Of course this does vary with different letter styles [fonts]
but don't worry, as you will be giving us the available area
dimensions, if you order too big, we will automatically condense
or scale the sign to fit.
To determine how many lines you can fit into the available height
of your area, simply add 20% of the height of the letters multiplied
by the amount of lines.
In other words, if say you require:
3 lines of 90mm text, 3 x 90 = 270 x 20% = 324mm
3. When ordering lettering or graphics to be applied to glass
on the inside but to be read from the outside or to be applied
to the front of a vehicle to be read in a rearview mirror, please
when ordering, click on reverse lettering.
4. When ordering you will be given the opportunity
to tell us what kind of surface and application your order will
be used for. This allows us to use the correct vinyl for the
job.
GRAPHICS AND LOGO’S
We can reproduce any graphic
or logo to your specified size.
For a quotation just e-mail us a colour copy of your artwork
[preferably as a jpeg attachment] with dimensions [either height,
length or both]
There will be a small set-up charge for this but we will give
you a file number and keep your design for future orders, thus
avoiding this charge again.
